What is organic wine?

While we conduct our research to find out an easy to understand the definition of organic wines, we came across a definition developed by Iordachescu in 2009.

“As with all other organic products, organic wines do not use a new method of production. It is just a decisive reaction to return to natural agricultural methods as an alternative to using chemicals and pesticides”.

More specifically, organic wines should obtain from grapes that have cultivated without pesticides and wine should be processed at a minimum level, with very low quantities of SO2 (sulfites max 100 ppm).
